Terms of Service
Last updated: June 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Beacon, a service operated by Space Co ("SP-CE", "we", "us"), a company operating in the United States and Canada, together with its websites, applications, and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Beacon provides SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and AI-visibility audits and reporting. The Service crawls websites you specify, analyzes their technical, content, and AI-discoverability signals, and — where you connect supported integrations — combines that with data from those services to produce reports, scores, comparisons, and recommendations.
3. Eligibility and accounts
Beacon is offered to businesses and is currently available in closed beta to SP-CE clients only. Accounts are provisioned by an administrator, and you sign in using a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, for all activity under your account, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must be at least 16 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the organization you represent.
4. Connected accounts and authorizations
You may choose to connect third-party accounts such as Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, and Bing Webmaster Tools. By connecting an account, you authorize Beacon to access the relevant data on a read-only basis to provide the features you enable, as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you are permitted to grant this access. You can disconnect any integration at any time, which revokes our access and deletes the stored credentials for that integration.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to analyze websites or accounts you do not own or are not authorized to assess;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or the terms of any connected third-party service;
- resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the Service or its outputs.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes. You retain ownership of the data you provide and of the reports generated for you, and you grant us the rights necessary to operate the Service and produce those reports.
7. Third-party services and data accuracy
The Service relies on third-party data and analysis providers, including search and SEO data providers and large-language-model providers, as well as the third-party accounts you connect. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability or accuracy. SEO, AEO, and AI-visibility metrics — including AI-referral and AI-mention figures — are inherently estimates and directional indicators, not guarantees of ranking, traffic, visibility, or business outcomes.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result or recommendation will achieve a particular outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beacon and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or, if you paid nothing, one hundred US dollars.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state or province in which Space Co maintains its principal place of business, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
